Can I rent out my home as an Airbnb or a short-term rental?

Residential use of lots only. No time Shares. No multi families. No short-term rentals. 
All Lots shall be used for residential purposes exclusively except for limited home office uses permitted under Section 11 of this Article II. No structures, except as hereinafter provided, shall be erected, altered, placed or permitted to remain on any Lot other than one (1) detached single family Dwelling constructed in accordance with the Plans and Specifications herein defined in Article III. No timesharing, interval ownership or other related ownership scheme where the right to exclusive use rotates among multiple owners or members of the program shall be permitted. In addition, no leasing or rental of any Dwelling shall be permitted, having a duration of less than 6 months nor shall less than the entirety of any Dwelling be leased. Declarant or its assignee may, however, maintain a sales office, models and construction office upon one or more Lots until all Lots to be located within the Subdivision have been sold.

Can I run a business from my home?

Prohibition Against Business Activity. No business activity, including but not limited to, a rooming house, boarding house, gift shop, antique shop, landscape business, professional office or beauty shop or the like or any trade of any kind whatsoever (in which clients or members of the pubic regularly come to any Lot or any significant business traffic is generated in the Subdivision) shall be carried on upon any Lot or Lots. Provided, however, that nothing contained herein shall be construed so as to prohibit use of any portion of a residence as a home office, so long as no clients or members of the public regularly come to any Lot and no significant business traffic is generated in the Subdivision on account of such use. Provided further, that nothing contained herein shall be construed so as to prohibit the construction of houses to be sold on said Lots, or the showing of said houses for the purpose of selling said houses in the Subdivision. Nothing herein shall be construed to prevent the Declarant or its permitees from erecting, placing or maintaining signs, structures and offices as Declarant may deem necessary for its operation and sales in the subdivision.

Can I rent the clubhouse or kitchen/Seaside Cafe for an event?

Unfortunately, at this time the Clubhouse and Seaside Cafe (Kitchen) cannot be rented.  Both facilities are open to all residents for use on a first come, first served basis.

How do I register my golf cart with the HOA?

Question 7

Do I need to register  my vehicle with the HOA?

Accepted Answer

Yes, each vehicle that is owned by a member of your household needs to be registered with the HOA.  
To register your vehicle, please send your information to the CAMS portal  and include your vehicle year, make, model name, and license plate number.  Please update this information if you change vehicles.

How do I reach Waterbridge Security?

Waterbridge Security is on duty 7 days a week from 5:00 p.m. through 1:00 a.m. and can be reached at 843-957-6413, which is a direct line to the officer on duty.

How many dogs can I have?

Accepted Answer

The limit is 3 pets.
Animal and Pets.  No animals, wildlife, livestock, reptiles, or poultry of any
kind shall be raised, bred, or kept on any portion of the Subdivision, except that dogs, cats, or
other usual and common household pets not to exceed a total of three (3) may be permitted in a
Dwelling. Dogs shall be leashed and under the control of the owner when on the Common Areas.
No dogs shall be permitted to roam the property and the Association may have strays and dogs
that are not leashed and are found off their owner's lot picked up by governmental authorities.
Those pets which, in the sole discretion of the Association, endanger health, make objectionable
noise, or constitute a nuisance or inconvenience to the Owners of other Lots or the owner of any
portion of the Subdivision shall be removed upon request of the Association. No pets shall be
kept, bred, or maintained for any commercial purpose. Pets shall only be permitted on the
Common Areas if such portions thereof are so designated by the Association. All persons
bringing a pet onto the Common Area shall be responsible for immediately removing any solid
waste of said pet.

Can I place a sign in my yard?

Signs are not allowed in any yard within Waterbridge unless specifically approved by the Board of Directors.
Political signs, for sale signs, for rent signs, yard sale signs, advertising signs are all prohibited within Waterbridge.

What day is trash day?

Accepted Answer

Trash day is Fridays, unless there is a holiday that week, and then pick up will be delayed by one day.

Where can my guests and visitors park?

There is overflow parking available for Waterbridge residents and guests located on Blue Indigo Lane and Rachel Carson Parkway.

Who do I call about a noise complaint?

You can call Horry County Police 24 hours a day on the non-emergency number: (843) 248-1520, or Waterbridge Security from 5:00 p.m. through 1:00 a.m. (843) 957-6413. If the noise is from a barking dog, you can also call Horry County Animal Control (843) 915-5172

I am concerned about my neighbor's fire pit, how do I report it?

Any and all concerns about fire pits should be reported directly to the Horry County Fire Department immediately.

When can I speak with the property manager in person?

Accepted Answer

Our Property Manager holds open hours at the Clubhouse every Tuesday and Saturday from 12:30-2:30.  No appointment is necessary.  You will be able to get ID cards, RFID stickers for your vehicle, ask questions, and get assistance in person!
